archeyes Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 We are working on a prototype retail store and all of the text on the sheets needs to be converted to our style text with font Arial. All of the prototype text is using the Standard style which is set to font "txt.shx". However, all of the individual text on the sheet is set to standard style but when I edit them, it shows they manually changed font name to "Romans". I try to match properties to our style text with Arial and It will not change font type. So, Is there a way to convert all of the text in the sheet to go back to font type(name) that is connected to the style? Thanks in advance! Archeyes Autocad 2013 Quote
RobDraw Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Yes. Look for a LISP called STPMText. It has saved me many hours of work. Quote
archeyes Posted March 25, 2014 Author Posted March 25, 2014 Thanks for the help. I had no idea about LSP. So, to help others, I googled it and found this discussion that had LSP code to strip all of the attributes from text: http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?53180-Change-color-of-existing-MTEXT-Objects then this one to learn how to execute the lsp: http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?1390-How-to-use-the-LISP-routines-in-this-archive I created the text .lsp file, loaded it in cad and then ran it from command prompt. It askes you to select the objects and then you hit enter and BAM!!! It solved my issue in no time!!!! Thanks RobDraw for sending me in the right direction!!!! Quote
