CEEinOrlando Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Does DWG files have hidden notes or info, letting one know when they were produced or date last modified before you open the drawing? But not right click properties? I received some DWG's from a client and PDF's. Clients states that the PDF's were printed off of the DWG's. I find somethings different with in the files that makes them both not to match up. But I cant find a way to view a date of the DWG's. I have a gut feeling, that there is no way to find out. If I have to ask the client, I'll be waiting 2-3 weeks for an answer..... Quote
ReMark Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Right click the file and check Properties. That would be the correct way of getting the information. It can be done for both the DWG and PDF file. Quote

It was overrided with my info. Quote
ReMark Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 No hidden or secret notes. Call the person that sent you both files and tell him or her that you have noticed differences. Let them explain what happened. Quote
eldon Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 I am not quite sure why you want to see the information BEFORE you open the drawing. When the drawing is open, you can type TIME on the command line, and it tells you when the drawing was last updated (besides other things). Quote

Just trying to play it safe before I open a drawing TIME gave me what I needed, Thank you! Quote
