Finding my tool palette

I've just created a tool palette using the design center, it has shown up in my palettes and I have named it as I want it.

 

I now need to move this palette into the folder with all the shared palettes so other users can use it. However I don't know where it has saved, or how I find this out.

 

 

Can anyone help me with how to locate where this file is?

Try: Options > Files > Tool Palettes File Locations.

This takes me to the file location where I copy my palettes to. The new palette isn't in here though.

I've found the location they are saving now. They are just called new palette though and don't take the name I gave them when I set them up.

 

Any reason for this?

If I right click my existing palettes and create new palette and rename the palette the ATC file takes the name I give it. However if I create a tool palette from the design center it just calls itself new palette.

 

I'm also trying to copy these ATC files to a file location where my others are, when I do this, a new file called palettes appears within this file and a duplicate ATC file saves in here, sometimes 2 duplicates.

 

Is this normal, maybe I don't understand the process enough, but i'd just like 1 ATC file in 1 location so I know what is what.
