SHELLEPOCH Posted March 26, 2014 Author Posted March 26, 2014 that smiley face should be the number eight. Wonder why it did that? Quote
ReMark Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 The downside to trying to install old software on a computer with the latest OS. Have you tried compatibility mode? Assuming you can get it installed you better hope there isn't any 16-bit code in the program because you'll never get that to run at all. How old is ADT 8? Have you read this article by Microsoft? http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/older-programs-compatible-version-windows Forget about getting any direct help from AutoDesk as I'm pretty sure they do not support that program on Win8. SHELLEPOCH Posted March 26, 2014 Author Posted March 26, 2014 I believe our company bought our version of Auto cad 8 in 2008/2009. We have recently hired another designer currently running 08 on his laptop and I having the hardest time trying to get it installed. I check out the article on my lunch break; thanks so much for your help. Quote
