Trinacria Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Hi you all, I have a problem with layer properties, and some other windows that don't open but show this kind of selection. I tried a lot of codes that I saw in forums, but they didn't work. Can you help me please? Quote
ReMark Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 What do you mean you "tried a lot of codes"? Where you attempting to customize your setup? Quote
Tiger Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 If you mean that you don't want the list next to your mouse, that is controlled with Dynamic Input, You can toggle it off with f12 or at the DYN-button at the bottom left of your screen. Quote
Trinacria Posted April 2, 2014 Author Posted April 2, 2014 Hi! First thank you for your helps. Then, I mean that I would like to see all the layers in the window, and not select the options. F12 put away that menu but the window doesn't appear. Same problem for things like new hatch and so on ps: the codes that I tried are some commands that I found in forums. But no solution yet. Quote
ReMark Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 You want to see all your layers in a window? Are you talking about the Layer Properties Manager? The F12 key functions as Tiger said. Do you want to assign a different command to that key? Hatch? You don't see a window when you start the command? What "codes" are you referring to? Are you talking about system variables like FILEDIA? Quote
ReMark Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 This is what the Layer Properties Manager window looks like when it is open. Is this what you were referring to? Quote
ReMark Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 The Hatch window. Is this what you want to see? You don't get to see this window unless you look at your command line and pick "T" for Settings". Command: HATCH Pick internal point or [select objects/Undo/seTtings]: T Quote

Tiger Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Could it be that the windows open off screen? Try changing your Workspace (the cogwheel at the bottom right) to reset the look and see if your windows re-appear. Quote
Trinacria Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 thank you all again. No it is not a problem of workspace and I think ReMark met the point. I want to see the windows. I tried variables as Filedia, but it didn't work changing them. I tried also with right click on ribbon, but it is all already selected. The computer is not mine, but of work, so tomorrow I will try your options and I will let you know. Thank you very much. Quote
ReMark Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I was using FILEDIA only as an example. That variable does not affect the Layer Properties Manager window or the Hatch and Gradient window. Have you tried changing Workspaces? Have you tried Changing Profiles? Quote
