JJuno Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 How do I insert a raster image that is drawn at 1/8" to a drawing at full scale 1:1. Quote
tekksavvy Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 hello... this site is new to me but to answer your questio::: i usually save my image as a block? (Using WBLOCK command) and then insert the image from block editor (Insert>Block editor) ---this would bring up the block editor tool pallette--- from parameters I choose the part of the image I want to scale and then from actions choose scale to your preferred size! this is when the scale command does'nt help i guess! BIGAL Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 If the image has a dimension them measure that and work out the scale factor then just use "Scale", I would be skeptical that the image is exactly 1/8" scale. look for something that you know the size of. Quote
RobDraw Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 A little trick to use with Al's suggestion: The reference option in the scale command is a great way of doing this. Quote
