xr309 Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 I've just built a computer with Win 7 and ACAD '12. When I open several drawings, a button for each appears on the task bar. In previous installations, only one button would appear. I would like to restore that simplicity. Since only one instance of ACAD is running, I would only like one button showing. Does anyone know how to do this? Quote
eldon Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 I think that you are opening a new programme for each drawing, that is why you are having multiple buttons on the Task Bar. How are you opening each drawing? from within AutoCAD or by other means? Quote

xr309 Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 Maybe TASKBAR set to 0 ? Looks like this does it. Also looks like one of the rare occasions where I didn't check ACAD Help before posting. Duh. Thank you. Quote
rkent Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Also go into the Taskbar properties, and on the Taskbar tab set the Taskbar buttons for "Always combine, hide labels". Quote
