How do I work out TAN for trigonometry in lisp? There is a cos and sin function but no tan. Thanks

Please don't forget that trigonometrically Tangent is the report of Sine over Cosine.

(defun Tan( x / )
(/ (sin x) (cos x))
)

This should work even for 90 degrees.

Ok, I'll try that, thanks for your help. I'm not the best at maths and have been using formulas on http://www.mathsisfun.com website. Really helpful.

Thanks Lee, some really great examples of lisp function formulas even though some are way over my head
