comcu Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Hi, i have been experimenting with short cut menus a little. i was hoping someone could explain it a little or point me in the direction for a good tutorial on it, i have managed to create short cut menus but cant get access to it unless i basically delete everything from the default menu ( of course i have copied it before deleting) and then adding my commands to it. this is great as i never use the standard shortcut anyway and my RH button is set to enter. so i have set my RH button to show the default shortcut menu after i hold it down for 100millisecs so thats great but now i want to modify the shortcut menu that you access when shift and mouse button 2 & 3 and also when ctrl is selected. well shift + rh click with remain my snaps menu but that should leave room for 3 more short cut menus. so i have created my short cut menus and went to the mouse button nodes in the cui and tried to modify “shift + button 3” however I don understand the macro and how to set it to open my particular short cut menu? I looked at the snap macro from button 2 hoping to modify it $P0=SNAP $p0=*[\code] I tried [code]$P530=SNAP $p530=* [\code] Then [code]$P530=Default Menu Shift3 $p530=*[\code] 530 being the POP no of the short cut menu i want to use and 'Default Menu Shift3' But with no luck? I now I am doing it wrong but cant see how to tell autocad what shortcut menu I want when mouse buttons are clicked? thankk you for any help, cheers, col Quote
comcu Posted December 4, 2008 Author Posted December 4, 2008 Hi i tried $p1=* and i showed me file menu floating so i thought $p530=* would work but nothing happens???? Quote
comcu Posted December 4, 2008 Author Posted December 4, 2008 i go it to work, you have to refrence the short cut menu after the pop 3 line then eg $P0=SNAP $p0=* becomes $P0=mymenu $p0=* the P0 reference is for the default shorct cut menu $P0=mymenu loads it and $p0=* then displays the menu Col.
