mifty12 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Hi Guys I have all the various layer colours showing in layout but i would like everything to be black and white with the exception of one layer which highlights a section. Could someone give me a pointer on how to achieve this. Thanks Justin. Quote
ReMark Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 You want this color scheme in your print out versus on your screen right? Quote
mifty12 Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 Hi yes I want this scheme to show in layout and plotted drawing but maintain layers colours within model. Quote
ReMark Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 For the layouts you'll have to control the color in the Layer Properties Manager under the heading VP Color. Quote
tzframpton Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Plot with the monochrome.ctb file to make everything black lines. Create a new layer and instead of Color 1, which is Red (as a for instance), apply a True Color RGB value for Red and it will override the monochrome.ctb file. Best and easiest way. Quote
BIGAL Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Like tzframpton, use PLot and edit the mono.ctb save as something else singlecolor.ctb, just make the colour of the particular layer you want to be "use object color". We have our colour.ctb set as 1-9 are black 250-256 are greys and the remainder are object colour, so pretty easy to make a layer plot colour, no need to play with VP colors. We generally only use about 5 colors. Quote
