cadguy11 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Hey there, im somewhat "new" to CAD been using it for about a year or so now. AutoCAD 2010 specifically. From time to time I have CAD drawings from other people/Companies that need worked on. Sometimes they contain hatch files that I don't have, but would really like to have for my own personal use.... is there anyways for me to save the hatch files that are contained in the drawings sent from other people so I can use them in my own drawings??? IF so how do I do this???? it will save me hours of draw time!!!!!!! thanks so much Quote
ReMark Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 (edited) You might try looking for GETPAT.lsp by Tee Square Graphics. I think the author was Paul Turvill. Harvests Hatch Pattern data from drawing files. Useful for recovering hatch pattern definitions when the original .pat file is unavailable. I found a link for you....http://www.turvill.com/t2/free_stuff/index.htm Edited April 29, 2014 by ReMark added link Quote
hugha Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 If you want a variety of other patterns, links to hatch pattern collections are here: http://www.hatchkit.com.au/HatLinks.php Hugh Adamson Quote
