Nathan_SF Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 I'm using Acad 2005 on XP and am having challenges plotting text on a file I received from a vendor (attached a screen shot for reference). I think this issue may have to do with text style since the existing blocks and text have a style I don't have. Is there a way to globally change all existing blocks and text to the standard style? I can go to each text item and change the text one at a time, but that's not feasible given the amount of text. Does anyone know how to change the text style on existing blocks? - it seems to revert back to the style I don't have. Thanks for any input. Quote

I think that you have not got the font assigned to the text style. Edit the Text Style and change the font to something that you do have (leave the style name as it is). Quote
Nathan_SF Posted December 5, 2008 Author Posted December 5, 2008 Thanks for feedback. I created another viewport sized 22x36 since the client wanted a large plot. Problem magically corrected itself in larger viewport, which is odd - since I created all viewports used in the drawing in the exact same way. At least it worked, no idea why. Quote
