Type/ WBLOCK and make a block.

Hi, i had a block in my drawings ...

If you have the same block in another dwg you can bring a copy of it to your dwg. Or if you didn't purge dwg, find out the name of the block and insert it again. Try also to open bak file or autosave file to get your block.

Stargirl,

one Thing you might want to consider soon

is creating a directory and making a Library

for separate Blocks

and/or creating a "master" dwg file That has a LOT of commonly used Blocks

This way if you insert 1 "master block dwg file" ALL of your Blocks

That are within that dwg - will be automatically created in the dwg

That you are inserting into

This is similar to what TevsR was saying

****

in previous versions of Autocad when you created a Block it would dissapear

and Then you would have to use the command "oops" to undo It again (no bs)

now you have more options using the Dialog boxes when creating it

which version of Autocad are you using? This would help us help you

just an Idea
