Guest PAB12 Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 I am new to AutoCAD but I am trying to setup layots for some electrical drawings done by a machine builder. They have layout 1 in each file but it's setup for a plotter and has the wrong view in the viewport. I wanted to delete this layout and setup my own using 11x17 layout. When I try to delete the layout it loks like it does but it never goes away and I can't delte the viewport either. Does the viewport have to be deleted before the layout is? I din't think so but as I said I am very new. This is AutoCAD 2013. What could I be doing wrong. Quote
ReMark Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 There has to be at least one layout so here is what you do. Create a new layout THEN delete the old one. You could also just modify the layout through the Page Setup Manager. Quote
