New 2014LT install. Error message when I do DTEXT. Support file search shows missing info, that my co-worker has.

Looks like you are missing the list of spelling dictionaries assuming my poor eyesight hasn't completely fooled me. Correct?

 

You do have your share of anomalies don't you? Ever think of changing careers and becoming a securities trader?

 

See if you can find the enu.dct file on your hard drive. If it isn't there then you may have to pull it off your coworker's computer.

 

There may be a second file named enu2.dct as well. They should both be in the Support folder for AutoCAD 2014.

 

A thought...maybe all you have to do is reset the path to the file?

Just got the two files from the other guy and reset the path.

It works great. So glad I don't have to reinstall and redo everything.

Once again you have proven to be a very reliable resource.

 

 

And yes, I do have my share of Murphy's Law.

Close to retirement, but not close enough it would seem. That's why I'm grateful for the Tutor and folks like you.
