hjohnson15 Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 I am drawing a bunch of details in CAD(all scaled at different sizes) and I can't seem to make the text/dimensions(drawn in model space) the same size... In 1xp scale, my fonts are HUGE. Do I have to create different dimstyles for each scale so the fonts will be the same? If so, how do I do it so that the end result yields similar text/dim? Or is there an easier way to do this? Eeek! Quote
BOB'27T Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Is the text annotative? Disregard my question-I noticed that your using 2000- Oops! Quote

In your version, there no easier way, you have to create a different dimstyle or layer (or both) to achieve this. You could have a look at putting your text in paper space but depending on the drawing it may not help. The other option is to upgrade your version of AutoCAD and use Annotation Scaling. It's specifically designed for the problem you have described. Quote
hjohnson15 Posted December 5, 2008 Author Posted December 5, 2008 Thanks! I was afraid of that . I'll try and convince my boss to upgrade - cuz this is ridiculous! Quote
