solids don't show up

I just installed ACAD Civil 3D and am having trouble with solid arrowheads and other solids not showing up.

 

I've attached file Solid Problem.dwg for an example with a dimension drawn and a block containing solids.

 

The dwg file was created using my standard template that worked before installing C3D. (I was using AutoCAD MAP 2009 before with no problems, which now has the same problem)

Usually one of these:

UCS set to World.

FILLMODE set to on.

SHADEMODE set to 2D.

when I open your file here your arrowheads and the scale are filled in.. your not in 3d hidden visual style view are you? is your text solid filled or hollow also?

if you're refering to shademode, I have it set here to 2dwireframe

text is cool, shows as dim variables say so.

 

when I draw a solid using the solid command, nothing shows

 

when I draw a hatch using a solid pattern in a closed polyline, it shows

 

when I draw a leader with a closed filled arrow, it shows

 

when I draw a dimension with a closed filled arrow, nothing shows where the arrow should be

also, when i open an older drawing with C3D the arrowheads dont show in a dimension, but they do in a leader.

Do you have Raster Design installed? There's a problem with C3D + Raster Design. Autodesk has a hotfix available that fixes the issue. (It might also be fixed in the new 2.1 update, I don't know.)

Thanks Sinc. That was the problem. I had installed Raster Design 2009 months ago and didn't think about it.

 

I just uninstalled Raster Design and problem was solved. Good to know that they have a hotfix though.
