Ski_Me Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 I've been researching how I could use MEP to help me draw my fire alarm designs. My focus ring now is to create MVparts to use with the catalog. In order to place parts into the catalog I have to create 3d blocks of the part. Now I can model very basic stuff and I don't need a very complex model. Should I model in inventor then bring in the block to a new drawing or try and model in autocad? Quote
tzframpton Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Do it in AutoCAD. There's no need to use Inventor and then import. Quote
