killerbytes Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 What dimension is this? 5080 and 3080. Thanks Quote
SEANT Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 That is a door size format or, possibly in this case, opening size. 5080 = 5’ x 8’ 3080 = 3’ x 8’ Another example 3068 = 3’ x 6’ 8” Quote
MaxwellEdison Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 I think the second number (the "80") may refer to inches, as 80 inches is that magical 6'-8" door height, Doublecheck your opening sizes to see how they compare. Quote

The sizing format is confusing as hell – for just that reason. Those numbers, and corresponding sizes, in post #2 are correct. The ubiquitous 80” door is always a **68 designation. The attached Pella chart gives some of the breakdowns. SlidingDoor_SizeChart.pdf Quote
MaxwellEdison Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Hmm...then whomsoever was foolish enough to place their name on that drawing need be hunted down and ground up for dog food. Whatever happened to simple numbered tags and window/door schedules for crying out loud. Quote
