AutoCAD lisp routine to insert LAS or PTS file

I found this, but it keeps crashing when trying to import a .PTS file.

There is numerous points in programs out there try http://www.lee-mac.com he has a points in program, I have some also but we need to know what your pts file looks like to really help.
