Rhayes Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 I have a Drawing in AA-2008 and sent to a consultant that is using Straight AutoCAD 2007. He says that when he opens the drawing file that they see all the scale representations of the text in the drawing. Does AutoCAD 2007 not have Annotation Scale.??? How can he view the drawing Correctly.??? Quote

How can he view the drawing Correctly.??? Annotation scaling came in 2008 versions. Not sure if he can display it correctly - but maybe someone else here will know. In any case, what would actually be the 'correct' scale? 1:1? He will still have to set the DIMSCALE depending on the plotted scale. Quote
lpseifert Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 Look in Help for the SAVEFIDELITY sysvar and/or "saving with visual fidelity" under Annotation. Quote
