basty
Since I can remember, the middle scroll wheel is used to zoom in and zoom out. But now it doesn't anymore in Windows 7.
ReMark
I run two different computers using Win7 Pro and Win7 Ultimate, both 64-bit machines, using AutoCAD 2014 and 2015 and the mouse wheel functions as it should when it comes to zooming in and out. I would try switching out the mouse and see if that makes any difference. Or maybe your mouse driver needs to be updated. What is MBUTTONPAN set to? Is AutoScroll enabled under Mouse Properties in your Windows Control Panel?
basty
My mouse not using a driver. It's a mouse with wire.
SLW210
If the mouse doesn't have a driver, it will not work, wired or wireless. It has a driver. What mouse do you have?
ReMark
A mouse driver is a piece of programming that enables a computer to communicate with a mouse. There is a default mouse driver included with all Windows operating systems.
