Which book do you recommend to learn C#?

Why start at the top level ? Can not lisp do what you want ? I may be wrong can you provide some details of what it is you are trying to achieve. Then comments will follow as to appropriate level of software.

I want to learn Programming, I heard that C# is a good language to start with, and we can find easily books.

Do you know a good book to learn AutoLISP? I prefer books to start rather than video/screen tutorials.

In addition to the myriad free AutoLISP resources available, I purchased this book to learn Visual LISP:

 

Visual LISP Developer's Bible, 2011 Edition - David M. Stein, only $6.99 $2.99 at Amazon

 

 

This is a great book, and David's a really nice guy personally as well (had an opportunity to speak with him).

 

 

 

... And as for C#.NET, I purchased Andrew Troelsen's Pro C# 2010 and the .NET 4 Platform book a few years ago (4.5 available now depending on your AutoCAD version):

2nd the idea of David Stein book, dont be put off about 2011, I use all the time an original Autocad R12 lisp manual.

 

In the Help under tutorials search for Garden path.lsp a good starting example.

 

The most relevant question what are you trying to do ? What discipline piping civil architectural.
