Presentation ZOOM Feature ???

I am creating an Inventor presentation.

I have finished "tweaking the components".

Everything is moving properly.

My problem is that I want to be able to zoom in & out, during the presentation.

And possibly rotate around the assembly (although, at this point, the rotation isn't necessary).

There are several details that are hard to see, as they animate, if you are not zoomed in on those components. But, if you are zoomed in on those components, then you can't see the whole picture, and you end up missing other components, as they move around.

I would like to start off, showing the entire assembly, then, when it is time for the smaller components to begin their movement, have the animation zoom down to those components. Then, once those parts have finished moving, have the presentation zoom back out to its original size.

Is it possible to zoom in & out of a presentation?

I would use Inventor Studio (Environments>Studio) for what you are trying to do rather than Presentation *.ipn.

Much easier, much more functional and much faster.

Presentation is really only useful for static 2D drawing exploded views.

Thanks, JD.

That's exactly what I needed.

Now that I have animated my assembly, using Inventor Studio, I find that it only allows me to create a 30-second animation.

Is there a way to increase the length of the animation?

(I need an additional 10 to 15 seconds, if possible.)

You can increase the time - but that is not the way I would do it.

Nothing is more frustrating than to do a 35 sec animation and have your computer run out of Ram on the next to last slide (losing everything).

I recommend creating in shorter clips (I don't even use 30sec) and use something like (free) Windows Movie Maker to stitch the shorter clips into one continuous movie.
