Changing Visual style in command

Hi,

When i'm inside a command such as rotate, and the visual style is realistic before initiating the command, then I realise that i'll need to be in x-ray to see some lines switching visual style by clicking on the view port controls cancels the command and makes me start all over again. Is the correct behaviour, not possible to change VS mid command?

Correct, you cannot use this command transparently. Typing a single quote (') before a command invokes it transparently. If it is not thus available, AutoCAD will tell you so. In this case, 'VSCURRENT will give you such a msg.
