removing hashing from certain areas.

I am trying to remove hashing, as when I try to hash outside the walkways and everything I cannot get it to work. I dont want the grass hashing to intrude on anywhere else, other then where its empty.

 

I tried clicking remove and selecting the hash marks, but it doesnt work.

 

I attached the file I am trying to work on, not sure if I did something wrong or?

I can erase em, so i guess that works ok, just wasnt sure if that is the correct way?

Remove? Remove is simply an alias for Purge. Where are you seeing a Remove command that can be clicked on?

 

What you want to do is Erase. Erase will Delete objects.
