I would like to draw it using a helix but when I draw it, it is viewed on the end. I want to be able to draw a sideways helix, how do I do that? thanks Mike. Quote
nestly Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 By default, the helix will be created in the Z direction relative to the current UCS, however after the Top radius is specified, there is an option to specify the "Axis Endpoint" (look at the command line and/or press the down arrow if using Dynamic Input) "Axis Endpoint" serves the dual purpose of specifying the direction of the helix and the helix height at the same time. Otherwise, rotate the UCS (not the view) so the Z axis is oriented in the desired direction. Quote
