Glen1980
Do you guys bother updating your projects with each subscription release? I've had 2015 for quite a while and couldn't use it asthe other two guys didn't have it. Now that's not a problem I can upgrade it but should I? Are there sometimes unexpected consequences? tzframpton
Sometimes there are issues, but it's very rare. It's never an issue with the project as a whole, usually just with certain Families and their functionality. It's always best to make a backup, then perform the upgrade and casually inspect the project. At my company, we upgrade almost immediately when a new release happens. We always want the latest & greatest, with all the new added features or benefits. Revit is a very stable application and you shouldn't fear upgrading. I think it's an AutoCAD mindset that has poured over into the Revit domain, since every release of AutoCAD has some quirk or major issue that needs to be resolved. Glen1980
Next question, do I open and resave the central file in 2015 before the local file? I am now the only person who can use Revit in the business.
