Kremer Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Hello everybody, hope all is well! My co-worker has been having this issue pop-up a few times. I've been unable to find a similar problem via google so I thought I'd chime in and see if you guys had seen something along these lines. For some reason the dimensions on his computer will, seemingly randomly, convert to decimal units with four proceeding 0's. Always the same funky style, never is it present in his drawing file. No where in the dim's properties does it reference a decimal style. AutoCAD seems to think it's still showing fractional as well. Its hard to make happen, but has occurred on brand new .dwg's as well as outside consultants. I'm at a loss. Quote
nestly Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 I don't think the screenshot tells much by itself. The measurement shown in Properties (QuickProperties) uses the format and precision specified in the drawing (UNITS command) and DIMSTYLE settings have no influence on it. Similarly, the dimension text uses the format and precision specified by the Dimstyle, and the drawing UNITS have no influence on the dimension text format or precision. My first impression is that the dimstyle for the 119.5000 dimension is using Decimal units, and/or that dimension object has an override. Can you post a sample drawing containing at least that one dimension? Quote
