Newton his Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 I am new to autocad 3d and I am having a problem fillet the edge were two solids meet. I want the fillet the edge of the highlighted blue part where it meets the green part. Please help Quote
ReMark Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 The simple answer is to use the FILLET command and pay close attention to what AutoCAD is asking you on the command line. Your Help file should provide further information. The basic steps are.... Click Solid tabSolid Editing panelFillet Edge. Select the edge of the solid to fillet. Specify the fillet radius. Select additional edges or press Enter. If you wait long enough perhaps forum member nestly will make a video for you depicting the use of the command. Then everything should be as clear as a bell. Good luck with your solids editing. Quote
nestly Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 ...fillet the edge where two solids meet..... In AutoCAD, FILLET does not work between two different Solid objects... you'd have to UNION them so it's one object first. Quote
Newton his Posted November 7, 2014 Author Posted November 7, 2014 Thanks nestly that worked. I am new to autocad and used to pro/e. That worked I really appreciate the help. Quote
