calicocat
I have autocad 2007 on a windows 7 based computer. My problem is when I copy something on to the clip board and go to another drawing to paste it, about 80% of the time it produces one of many different images I copied at a earlier times. Has anyone got any suggestions? Thanks.
nukecad
There was a problem with early versions of 2007 (and some early 2008 versions) that when you 'saved as' drawings to an earlier version the copy and copybase commands would not put anything onto the clipboard from those drawings. (When you tried to paste you got whatever was previously in the clipboard). This was later fixed by a hotfix and also by the subsequent service packs, make sure that your service packs are up to date. http://knowledge.autodesk.com/suppor...ce-pack-2.html You will also need to 'fix' the problem drawing . Open and resave it once you have applied the service packs. If this still doesn't fix it there are various posts on this forum about using DWGtrueview to fix it. There were quite a few threads about this at the time and I'm not sure why but it seems to be cropping up again here and on other forums. Are people buying old copies of 2007 from somewhere
