I am working on a bathroom drawing and have used externals blocks of bathroom fixtures. Some of them will not turn off when I turn the layer off.

Any suggestions?

Perhaps there are objects within the blocks that are on different layers?

BTW...did you check Properties > Layer of one of the troublesome blocks?

I clicked on one of the blocks and went into properties. The layer is listed as the layer. I don't know if I should check in another way.

Use BEDIT on one of the blocks and when you are in the block editor check which layers different parts of the block are on.

Try FREEZing the layer instead of turning it OFF... Turning Layers OFF is so 1990's LOL

Learning the block editor, and use of layer 0 (zero) will work even better.
