cadmando2 Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 I’m currently updating old HVAC CAD blocks library and creating a detail book using CAD 2008. All of the blocks where created 1=1. Not all Blocks need to be 1=1. I’m have to scale the detail blocks so that the Text is .094 heights. And having to change the layers. M-Detail & M-Detail-Notes layers. I have created some script files to help reduce how much time I send on each block. I’m making a more comprehensive folder and filing system. Old filing system. Example: HH1ESI01.DWG New filing system: Example: HH01ESI01-Copper Sweated- Heating Coil (2-way Electric) Detail.DWG HH=Hydronics So I’m having to rename all the files in each folder. Then print them out for the Booklet. Very Time communing. So what I’m looking for is some way to tag files in a folder to be re-named. Any other programs or ideas what be great. Quote
