musyas Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 What is the default scale if you open the AutoCAD? and how to change the scale? I want it to be permanent scale everytime I opened it. Is this possile? Anyone.. Quote
rkmcswain Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Are you talking about the annotative scale? This and many other things are saved in the drawing itself. When you start AutoCAD (and/or when you use the ._QNEW and ._NEW commands), a template drawing is loaded. You need to edit this template. Note that you may have multiple templates. Quote
musyas Posted December 13, 2008 Author Posted December 13, 2008 Not the the annotative scale.. what I looking for is the scale when you start the AutoCAD and choosing the "Start from Scratch".. What i'm talkling about is the default scale in Model Space. Quote
Brooklyn Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 The default scale in MS is 1:1 but, why would you want to change it? You should always draw your project in 1:1 & scale your project in a viewport. Quote
