Hollow text in Print Preview

I'm trying to write something in Arial font. When I create the text in the Viewport it looks solid, but when I look at print preview it's an outline.

 

I have set

fillmode = 1 and textfill =1

 

I thought it was fixed when I changed shademode = 2D but shademode only changed the text in the Viewport.

 

This is really confusing

Please help.
