RobDraw Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Is there a native command for arc leaders or do they require a LISP? If AutoCAD does not have one, does anyone have a LISP for this that they can share? Quote
ReMark Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Check out this thread. http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?56607-quot-Arc-quot-like-Leader Two more options in this thread. http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?2733-Arc-ed-Leader Quote
RobDraw Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 Thanks, Remark, saw that. Plenty of LISPS out there but someone seems to think its available as a native AutoCAD command. Do you use arc leaders? I'd like a recommendation on a LISP before getting one if that's the route I have to take. Quote
ReMark Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Sorry Rob I do not use arc leaders. The Format option of the Leader command lists Spline but not Arc. Even MultiLeader lists a Spline option but no Arc. Quote
RobDraw Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 Thanks again. BTW, what's up with people not liking your attitude lately? You've been really good about giving information without being critical and people are still complaining. I don't get it. Quote
ReMark Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 One more for you here....http://www.cadcorner.ca/lisp.php Look for Arcl.lsp. Re: my attitude. It is because I have not learned the fine art of finessing my replies. I'm told it's because I come from a German-Czech background. Quote
rkent Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 In Mleader the arc leader can be done pretty well with the spline. Set Max points to 3, first angle to 15, no second segment angle specified. Pick your first point, pick as close to the first point as you can and still show the arrow, pick the third point. Experiment with the first segment angle depending on how you like them to look, you may find another angle works better. Quote
SLW210 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 I moved your thread to the AutoCAD 2D Drafting, Object Properties & Interface Forum. Quote
