GemmaEBaird Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Good morning I understand the left / right top etc views - or 'standard' views .... but how do you view your design from 'eye level' at a give point ? Also - is there a way to save these views as in sketchup ? My rendered views are coming our really low quality - an I doing something wrong ? Admitadly this is 3 questions but I didn't want to duplicate my post' Thank you in advance Quote
Cad64 Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 For your 1st and 2nd questions, create a camera and place it wherever you want. As for your low quality renders, did you ever solve the problem with opening up the Advanced Render Settings palette? You kind of abandoned that thread so I don't know if you ever got that sorted out or not. You need to be able to access that palette in order to tweak your render settings. Quote
GemmaEBaird Posted January 8, 2015 Author Posted January 8, 2015 Apologies - I didn't mean to abandon the other thread - over worked and lacking sleep. I've sort of fixed it - it's hit and miss - sometimes it works and somethimes it doesnt. The images that come our are just really low res. As to the cameras - I know how to do that ..... but then how do you get into the view you just created ? Thank you Quote

Cad64 Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 As to the cameras - I know how to do that ..... but then how do you get into the view you just created? Type VIEW at the command line to access the View Manager dialog. In the "Views" pane, double click on "Model Views" to open up that section and then select the camera view you want to access. Then select "Set Current", then click Ok. Quote
GemmaEBaird Posted January 12, 2015 Author Posted January 12, 2015 Thank you - that was really helpful - I've got it now. Just need to work on my actual drawing skills a bit now Quote
