miroslav_s
Hi, I am starting to learn more and more about autocad architecture and find this program amazing. Now, what I would like to know is how connection between walls and slabs are done. Like in the link here: http://prntscr.com/5xd5vf I know how to connect for example two wall (one external with one internal) but how is it done with walls and slab? Can someone point me to some website tutorial so that I can read and learn. Best regards to you and thanks in advance for all your help. ReMark
Are you talking masonry construction or wood framed construction?
miroslav_s
Hi ReMark, Thank you ou for the Quick replay. About your question, I´d say masonry construction
tzframpton
You may find your time better spent on picking up and learning Revit Architecture instead, since AutoCAD Architecture was modeled after it anyways. The market has transitioned to Revit, especially in the architectural field so you would be aligning yourself with current market trends and a far better platform in general. Dana W
Regardless of the software you are using, here are a few hundred images of how it's done, for most types of wall to floor joints. What is important is that the floor has to sit on something, you can't just connect it to the side of the wall. That image you posted is not showing much of anything really. Hi Dana, Either I did not explain good what kind of help I was looking for or you did not understand my question. What you gave me (the link) is just several drawings on google search how wall-floor connections looks like. I now how they look like, what I was hoping that someone could tell me or point me to some website tutorial is how it is done. I found very good video tutorial on how wall cleanup is done, see this: http://prntscr.com/5xgoyd , http://prntscr.com/5xgod0 In that tutorial there is explanation step by step how to do this wall cleanup. I am looking for wall-slab clean up or how you call it Thanks and best regards to you all
