Are you talking about AutoDesk Raster Design? It has vectorization tools. There is a free 30-day trial version available here...http://www.autodesk.com/products/autocad-raster-design/free-trial

Students can obtain the program for free via the Educational Community found at the AutoDesk website.

Is there any other software call Autodesk Vector for Architectural purpose ... or this is the only software we have

There is AutoCAD Architecture, Revit LT and full Revit. Descriptions and free trial versions are available at the AutoDesk website.

I'm kind of surprised you asked since you have posted questions to the Revit Architecture forum. You wouldn't by any chance be thinking about a program called Vectorworks Architect by the Nemetschek Group would you?

"...software like that..." Like what? What are you trying to do? Are you trying to do a raster to vector conversion? Note that AutoCAD creates drawing data files in a format known as a vector file.

There is a program called VectorNow.

VectorNow Raster to Vector converter is a stand-alone program to convert scanned drawings, maps and images to vector files (DWG/DXF) to edit in CAD applications.

The program is produced by a company called AutoDWG. It is not affiliated with AutoDesk.

As far as I can tell there is no program called "Vector" by AutoDesk.

Lastly, you can convert raster art to vector graphics using AutoDesk's Sketchbook Pro. After creating the raster artwork the user can export it to a DWG file format.

I believe there are versions for both Mac and Windows.

System Recommendations for Vectorworks.....

Read it.

I think it would be helpful if a mod changed the title of this thread to reflect the fact the OP was actually looking for information regarding Vectorworks and not an AutoDesk product.

I use Vectorworks for anything to do with Architecture. I have drafted a few houses for myself and friends, use it for playing around with yard designs and such. My wife also uses it almost exclusively with Theater Lighting Design. It is wonderful for architectural and planning applications but not great (in my opinion) for ... uh... non architectural stuff. We have the educational version (YAY FREE!) so it is "fully loaded"

We use it on a Mac, but I also have it on my Windows 7 comp. It has nearly identical functionality across both systems, but seems to prefer Mac (being its native system)

Hi, as far as I understand it, Vectorworks is related to preferred computer aided design tools for drafting and documentation. I think, you need to explore this guidelines to get started with it. You can check it here: Vectorworks 2016 Getting Started Guides
