RobDraw Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 I'm moving into the world of P&ID within the same company. I've done some drafting for that team before but it's pretty much a new aspect for me. Unfortunately, that team has been doing it's own thing for years, i.e. completely ignoring company standards in lieu of their own. They don't even have a library of symbols. I will be helping bring things together for them. P&ID requires a lot more symbols and most of them are more detailed than what the rest of the company uses. I'm actually looking forward to bringing with me a strong knowledge of the company standards and applying them to suit needs. Quote
ReMark Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 How many members are there in this other team that you will soon be a part of? Are you the new team leader? What program will you be using? Quote
RobDraw Posted February 3, 2015 Author Posted February 3, 2015 Team leader, no. Lead drafter, yes. It's a small team of six. AutoCAD for now, but am anticipating that the company will be dropping AutoCAD completely for Revit. Quote

RobDraw Posted February 22, 2015 Author Posted February 22, 2015 Training has been happening for a few years, now. Quote
