basty Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 What is Autocad autosurf? Is it a separate software or integrated in autocad? Quote
ReMark Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 It was definitely not integrated into AutoCAD. It was an add-on used with AutoCAD Release 12 and 13 originally for the creation of complex surfaces in 3D models. Why do you ask? You're not thinking of trying to locate a copy to use with AutoCAD 2014 are you? Here is a link to a review of AutoSurf written in 1996 you might find interesting. http://csanet.org/newsletter/nov96/nl119604.html Want to learn even more about AutoSurf then find and buy the book "An Introduction to AutoCAD AutoSurf" by Alf Yarwood. You can probably get a copy for less than $4 U.S. It will make for interesting reading and when you're finished you can use it to start a campfire. Quote
