(Dimensions only report the distance in the XY plane, Delta Z is not factored.) On the other hand, if dimensioning other objects results in unexpected values, then perhaps the Dimension scale factor is something other than "1" Quote
Dadgad Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 (edited) If you use the DISTANCE command, and pick the endpoints, the response will clarify the issue. You need to be displaying two lines of commandline history though, or you won't see all of the information reported. The DISTANCE reported is the actual length of the line, the same as you would expect to see in the Properties dialog. No doubt nestly's assessment is right on the mark.
