whitemarlin Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 I need to clip a section out of an image. Is their any way to do this other than using the wipeout command? I am staying away from the wipeout! Nothing good can come from that awful command. Thanks Quote
lpseifert Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 You could try Imageclip with polygonal boundary. Quote
whitemarlin Posted December 17, 2008 Author Posted December 17, 2008 that only clips the outside of the image. I want to clip out the inside. Quote
whitemarlin Posted December 17, 2008 Author Posted December 17, 2008 ya it looks like you clipped from the outside of the image, then ran a seam from the top, cut a hole in the center and then continued the seam up to connect to the outside of the image again. I can do that but I dont want that seam. Quote
User Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Edit the image before you put it in the drawing. Just an idea. Quote
manhattan Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 you could use it as an xref & do an inverse xref clip on it. other than that id go with wipeout Quote
