Clip hole in image

I need to clip a section out of an image. Is their any way to do this other than using the wipeout command? I am staying away from the wipeout! Nothing good can come from that awful command.

Thanks

You could try Imageclip with polygonal boundary.

that only clips the outside of the image. I want to clip out the inside.

ya it looks like you clipped from the outside of the image, then ran a seam from the top, cut a hole in the center and then continued the seam up to connect to the outside of the image again. I can do that but I dont want that seam.

Edit the image before you put it in the drawing.

Just an idea.

you could use it as an xref & do an inverse xref clip on it. other than that id go with wipeout
