anupmadhu Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 The attached drawings has blocks with attributes, need to export those to excel as per the attached screen shot. These are irrigation valve tags, in a drawing there will 100's of those tags This will be helpful in scheduling irrigation Valve tag.dwg Quote
dbroada Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 doesn't AutoCAD's native DATAEXTRACTION tool do this for you? Quote
anupmadhu Posted March 22, 2015 Author Posted March 22, 2015 sir, I have to select certain blocks out of a group and export, this for scheduling purpose And this i need to do a lot of times, may 5 to 8 times a minute So lisp programs are easier option Quote
Lee Mac Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 You could use my Global Attribute Extractor as a simpler alternative to DATAEXTRACTION. Quote
anupmadhu Posted March 23, 2015 Author Posted March 23, 2015 Hi Lee The code works great, is possible to have some refinement Code should export only the selected block & it should be capable of multiple selection. Thanks in advance Quote
Lee Mac Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Do you want the program to make you coffee too? Quote

ROBP Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 sir,I have to select certain blocks out of a group and export, this for scheduling purpose And this i need to do a lot of times, may 5 to 8 times a minute So lisp programs are easier option 5 to 8 times a minute omg no time to draw or change nothing at that rate. Automatic lisp to run in the background while drafting, lisp with a time laps or a time schedule quite a task i am anxious to see such coding. R Quote
