Which is the best one to use? I have always used Solprof and have only tonight started dabbling with flatshot.

I am still getting to grips with it (in the loosest term possible) but what I want to know is what advantages there are for using Flatshot over Solprof.

Many Thanks.

:? solprof i think is u can make out 2d from 3d drawing, the difference is that solprof is you can separate the outer lines from the inner lines(supposed to be) unlike the flatshot- you can manage if you like to show the hidden lines or not in one single phase. drawings showing the hidden lines, solprof is the best because you can manage the lines to be hidden, unlike flatshot, if you edit it will all contain all the drawing. hope you u get it....

Sorry for my ignorance but what is the point of flatshot then? Solprof to me is quick and easy and gets the job done, but, I fail to see why flatshot would be an advantage to Solprof!

try look on the drawing attached, there's the labeling, for the flatshot, try to set view in plan, solprof doesn't come in block name unlike flatshot, there is a default name of the block.

one more, solprof can be done on paper space????

flatshot vs solprof.dwg
