My company logo won't print properly. On occasion, this affects other elements in the drawing, important things, like numbers and text.

4 people use Autocad in my office. We use ACAD's DWG to PDF converter standard with the program. We have it saved to the server so we know we're all using the same one.

When I Publish multiple layouts, the PDF looks fine. When I plot from Adobe Reader, the logo does not print properly.

When my co-worker(s) Publish in HIS Autocad and then I plot the PDF from MY Adobe Reader, the logo is fine.

I'm quite sure the problem is occurring in MY DWG to PDF. But seemingly all our settings are the same.

Attached is a scan of two sheets I've plotted.

I've had the same problem for the last 3 versions of ACAD LT.

I'm sure some will suggest using a different PDF Converter, but it's hard to ask for everyone to change when it seems to by my problem.

How does the logo get into the drawing in the first place? Is it an OLE object? If so, how is it handled? Does AutoCad control your life? It does mine. I just pressed the OK button on the image in my message preview window to close it.

If what Dana W shows doesn't help, you should double check each and every setting in the Properties of the DWG to PDF.pc3.

Are the others also on AutoCADLT 2016?

Oh yes, important info....

It's actually Cad Lines. I assume it was converted sometime before my time from a raster image. But CAD entities is what it is now.

And yes, we're all on A LT 2016. Like I say this has plagued me for the last 3 versions.

I feel somehow it's related to my other curse where the Background Mask and Text Mask sometimes are black. I've had that for 9 years and multiple versions and two different employers!

Can you post screen shots of your plot settings in Adobe Reader? Pretty sure you just have a setting off somewhere. If the plot previews look the same, I would say it isn't DWG to PDF.pc3.

I can click "Print as Image" and it works okay.... except if the file is a couple sheets or more the printer times out and doesn't work. I can "Print as Image" to 11x17. But I'm sure the problem is with the creation of the PDF. Because if I send the PDF to a client, I have to be confident that they can print it on their end without adjusting the standard print settings, of whatever PDF viewer they use.

I know this might sound crazy, but I think it's because of some other setting I have in my Acad, totally unrelated to printing.... like because I have a Layer Tool Palette on the left side:?

I'm going to try to reinstall LT stock, no modifications and see if anything changes.
