sonali Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Hello everyone. I need your help. Right now, I am required to subtract solid made by revolve command (SS2), from the planar surface (SS1). Please somebody help me to handle these. Thank you. Quote
marko_ribar Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Use SLICE command and remove unwanted part of SS2... You don't need SS1 for this operation... Quote
sonali Posted April 18, 2015 Author Posted April 18, 2015 Thank you sir, for your kind reply. Sir, my aim is to convert 3D solid into 2D sectional line. So, with help of lisp I am drawing "planar surface" of predetermined dimension. Then I am subtracting (SS1-SS2). So, I will get the slot in plane. Then with the help of explode command I remove the plane and the thing left will be the only lines and arcs. So, please help me to subtract (SS1-SS2) by autolisp itself. Quote
marko_ribar Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Then use SECTION command... Select SS2 for object and then use "Object" option and pick SS1... After that, you can remove both SS1 & SS2 and EXPLODE created section block... Quote
sonali Posted April 18, 2015 Author Posted April 18, 2015 Oh. that is pretty cool. But, sir please guide me for getting this output by autolisp. Thank you sir, once again. Quote
