smkeddy Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Hello forum! Long time lurker, first time poster. I am a math teacher at the high school level and would like to add AutoCAD as either an extension to a geometry class, or on its own. Unfortunately, the district has only Chromebooks to work with. I've scoured the web for a solution, but to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or know if AutoCAD is planning on developing a cloud based version that goes beyond what the current 360 does? Thank you!! Quote
ReMark Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 The district didn't do you or your students any favors by going to Chromebooks. Personally I think you are stuck. Maybe TinkerCAD? It ain't AutoCAD or Inventor though. https://www.tinkercad.com/ Quote
f700es Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 I think Chromebooks are great educational laptops (my son's high school uses them). +1 on TinkerCAD, very easy to use imho. Quote
