I love using my ordinate dimensions but in most of my work, 1/4" is far close enough for precision... it's easy to select my source coordinate and change the precision but can I set it prior? :?

Yes, that is where it is changed, but when I change it there, it changes the precision for more than just the Ordinate Dimensions. Can I change their precision by itself?

Yes you can set a different precision for your ORDINATE dimensions by starting a CHILD dimstyle.

In your dimstyle manager choose NEW, and you will be guided through creating a new dimstyle which can be specified to be used

only for ORDINATE dimensions, then set the precision however you want it on the PRIMARY tab.
