MonkeyTurnip Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 odd one, an I expect the answer to be no. I recently changed a system variable to "fix" an issue with an annotative linetype in a dynamic block, that was not scaling correctly in a viewport. its not the common LTSCALE, MSLTSCALE and PSLTSCALE. I changed it in the last couple of weeks, and in my infinite wisdom I never made note, bookmarked the website or remembered the variable. is there a way of getting an output from AutoCAD a list of variables that have been changed? ideally in date order and a big neon sign pointing to the one I cant remember. BIGAL Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Our IT back up twice a day so YES I could do some form of compare variables, if you have nothing to compare then sorry current version is it. Quote
Dadgad Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Are you familiar with the SYSVDLG express tool? If not, then open it up and take a browse down the list. If you use your cursor button you can scroll right through them, and eyeball them pretty quickly. If you need to restore the default OOTB system variable settings, that i simple with the READ button at the bottom of the SYSVDLG box. Otherwise, if you aren't an OOTB kind of user, I strongly suggest that you use the SAVE ALL button to create your own personal (easily recoverable) .svf file with all your favorite settings, except of course for the one you are now struggling with. It also makes it easy to set up your system variable preferences on another machine, or to share them. Does one of these ring a bell? Or MEASUREMENT? Quote
